Welcome to Backsberg

The philosophy of Backsberg remains that of providing pleasure and enjoyment to a broad range of wine lovers by producing wines not only with structure and finesse, but with a high level of “drinkability”.

Simply put, if you find our wines easy to drink and, above all, enjoyable, then we have been successful.

As an Estate we are able to initiate and follow this whole process from the growing of the young vine till the bottling of our finished product. We furthermore believe that our wines should be priced to reach the tables of as many wine drinkers as possible so that all can share in some of the magic that is Backsberg.Backsberg has been chosen as one of the Top 100 Wineries of the Year by Wine & Spirits Magazine in New York. Wineries are chosen based on consistently high performance and scores throughout a 12 month tasting cycle.
